About Us
Thank you for taking the time to explore our business.

Our Location
We are located in Spokane Valley, Washington in a quiet area near the Dishman Hills Recreation area. Being about a mile from I-90, our location offers easy access to all Spokane Valley, Millwood, East Spokane, Ponderosa, Millwood, University, and Bowdish residents. Being located just off the Dishman-Mica Parkway, residents of Freeman, Valleyford, and Rockford will enjoy the convenience of attending classes without driving through East and Central Valley areas.

Our Story
Like most familiy owned businesses, there is a long story behind what we do and how we do it.  As any DIYer will understand, we started tackling the things in life we found very important, like the education of our children , from our personal knowledge and experience. Simply, we thought we could do it and we wanted to try to do it. We have enjoyed the flexibility of applying our skills and strengths to their education and for many years we have enjoyed bringing dynamic enriching educational opportunities to other home schooled children and now to anyone who is interested in our classes.

While we no longer teach every class, we bring insightful, organzied, professional, friendly, and experienced instructors to each class. Here is an example of some classes we have taught over the years:

- iBelong: Mother Mentoring Teen Daughters (12+)
Moms and daughters attend class together and experience relational exercises to deepen their relationship and understanding of themselves, each other, and the world they live in. 12 week course.

-Stephen Minister Training (18+)
We are certified leaders of the Stephen Ministry program and lead Stephen Ministery training (a 30+ hour training program) on behalf of the Valley Real Life church in Spokane Valley.

- Home School Party Organization (18+)
This learning experience allows a home schooling parent to be mentored through the organizational processes of planning an event: location, theme, supplies, content building, delegation of shared responsibilities (team building and leadership), attendance monitoring, and effectiveness evaluations for events when concluded. We have seen parents provide the community with family-focused events year after year, and to watch their personal circle of influence in the community grow steadily. It's a wonderful thing to behold!

- Project Art (all ages)
Where do we start? With Art!  In the early days, we offered art classes for home school children with fun projects like: Pirate's Treasure map, The Checkered Chameleon, Fall Trees of Any Color Leaves, and more.
Now we continue to provide classes in digital art processes, such as logo building and branding and digital card and invitation creation.

- You Can Do It Home and Care Maintenance (16+)
With a large garage area and plenty of tools, we teach basic skills for the home and car owner. Workshops include: basic car maintenance, tire rotation and changes, welding for home projects, wood project building (projects change but include play and storage structures), firearm cleaning and maintenance, and basic project design.

- Dirt Diva's Mountain Bike Clinics (12+)
We wrote the manual, literally! This clinic provides a woman-specific learning environment for ladies who want to deepen their understanding and skills in mountain biking. This is a seasonal course aimed at the beginner and we provide a full manual covering all topics, along with an expert-classed female racer to present challenge skills.
Class includes class instruction and on-location skills riding time.
